Throughout December and January, ICM will be working with our charity, WithWomen, to help raise money for two important projects being run by graduates of our Young Midwife Leader Programme.
Funds will be raised through the WithWomen website and can be made by credit card. All funds we raise during this campaign will be divided equally among the two projects.
All donations made to WithWomen between 15 December 2023 and 30 January 2024 will go towards the work of these amazing young leaders – every euro helps, donate now!

Midwives Helping Prevent Teenage Pregnancy – Meet Harriet Nuyiga
In Uganda, one in four women have a baby before their 18th birthday.
When a girl gives birth, her chances of pregnancy and birth complications, and even dying during childbirth, are higher.
Harriet Nuyiga is a midwife in Uganda who works on bringing sexual and reproductive health services to these girls and women. Midwives provide group support and counselling sessions, provide information on contraception and give free HIV testing, STD screening and treatment.
Midwives also provide antenatal care to young pregnant women, without stigma, increasing the chances that their pregnancy, birth and postnatal experiences are positive ones.
Support Harriet’s project to make it possible for more midwives to support more girls and young women to take control of their reproductive health.
